National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee (NSCAC)

The National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee (NSCAC) is an organization comprised of individuals that are representing their respective DMERC Advisory Committees/Councils (DAC) in all four regions in the United States. It was formed in 2001 with the purpose of; improving communication between the National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) and the supplier community, suggesting to the NSC targeted educational opportunities regarding supplier number obligations to DMEPOS suppliers, and creating a problem solving / communication link between the DMEPOS supplier community and the NSC.  The NSCAC meets regularly with the senior management of the NSC. The NSC has recognized the NSCAC as a liaison to the industry.

The NSCAC has, in the past, received informal information regarding the performance of Overland Solutions during the site visit process.  Currently the NSCAC is attempting to formalize the receipt of this important information.

The supplier community's help is needed. If a supplier has a concern with how Overland Solutions conducted its site visit, the supplier is encouraged to document the event by reporting the issue to the NSCAC on the “NSC Site Visit Tracking Form” enclosed and email it to NSCAC Operations: schafhause@aol.com.  The NSCAC will discuss the issue anonymously with NSC management at its next meeting.  The NSCAC has developed a format to facilitate the reporting process.

The objective of the NSCAC Site Tracking form is to gather specific examples of where additional training of Overland Solutions employees may be required.  In doing so, the inspection process will improve for the industry as a whole.

To Suppliers: This form is to be used to report issues experienced when the NSC Site Inspectors come to your site. This form should be filled out in its entirety. Submit this completed document to the National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee (NSCAC) Operations email schafhause@aol.com. The supplier information that you provide will remain confidential. The information on the "Type of Issue" and "Description of Issue" will be utilized for informational purposes to the NSC.
