As a member of the Association, you have the opportunity to shape policy for the organization by joining a council. Please visit the the Councils page to learn more and to contact staff about meeting dates and times. Open councils include Medical Gases, Home Medical Equipment/Respiratory Therapy, Medical Supplies, and Complex Rehab and Mobility.

AAHomecare focuses on legislative and regulatory issues that affect your business and the constituents you serve. For business management questions, we recommend that you confer with one of our Independent Consultants who can assist you in areas such as financial management, public relations, or the legalities of business ventures.
Your state association will be able to provide state-specific information on licensure and state requirements for opening a business. AAHomecare also offers education teleconferences and webinars which provide regulatory, legislative, and business-specific information to help HME providers streamline their businesses.
