CRMC

CRMC (Complex Rehab & Mobility Council)

The CRMC actively works on issues of importance to the standard mobility and Complex Rehab Technology space as well as industry-wide priorities.  Through a combined focus on advocacy initiatives (legislative and regulatory) and operational practices, Council members are able to advance mobility priorities that directly impact their daily activities and long-term strategic planning.

“The CRMC is an excellent resource for mobility providers,” explains Council Chair Nancy Froslie.  “Through the Council, our members stay informed of what is changing and learn how they can help in the legislative efforts taking place to give providers some relief.  Our goals for the upcoming year really show all the efforts we are working on and how important everyone’s voice is”.

Through council-wide discussions and targeted Work Group activities, the Council tackles an impressive workload of Council goals each year while advising the Board of Directors, other AAHomecare Councils, and vested stakeholders on priority needs.  The Council also hosts a standing Work Group which focuses exclusively on the retail space; more information on the Retail Work Group can be found here.

Recent areas of focus include:

  • CRT Accessories Exemption from Competitive Bidding Pricing
  • Competitive Bidding
  • Prior Authorization Program for Mobility
  • PMD Demonstration

And More!
