Additional Resources
This relief is needed to allow DME suppliers to continue to support millions of seniors and individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions who depend these products to remain at home, with their families and caregivers in their community. Medicare DME reimbursements have not received a true market-based adjustment to account for rising product and operational costs since 2015. These bills will also send a strong message that policymakers need to craft a longer-term methodology to make sure that reimbursement rates are aligned with market reality.
Tell policymakers how the disconnect between Medicare rates and product/operational impact your ability to support your patients and how a measure of relief and stability will help your company survive and thrive to serve your communities.
