We are terribly saddened by the passing of Van G. Miller.  His influence in the homecare arena is second to none, and his work founding and leading a great company leaves an impressive legacy.  The essential work of The VGM Group not only helps their diverse nationwide membership thrive, but also positively impacts the lives of the millions of people these companies serve.

Van’s service on the Board of Directors of AAHomecare, as well as his determination to make The VGM Group a strong presence on Capitol Hill and a force in mobilizing grassroots support on HME policy priorities, serves as a benchmark for other leaders in our industry to strive for.  We are proud to have honored Van as one of AAHomecare’s earliest Homecare Champion award winners in 2012.

The homecare community has lost an advocate, an innovator, and a stalwart ally, but the lasting effects of Van’s work and warm memories of his friendship will remain with all of us for years to come.
